Nagoshi Studio (Gang of Dragon) has officially closed its doors

Unfortunately, there were many signs pointing to the almost inevitable closure of Nagoshi Studio. Last December, the Japanese company founded by Toshiro Nagoshi, the creator of the Yakuza franchise, announced its first game, titled Gang of Dragon.
Less than a year later, the studio finally shut down on October 31, 2026. The company was dissolved by a shareholder resolution passed that day. This closure is part of budget cuts implemented by NetEase this year.
Thus, the future of Gang of Dragon seems sealed.
