The Switch 2 version of Hellraiser comes on a game key card, even though the marketing materials showed otherwise
, by Thibaut
An unpleasant surprise awaited Switch 2 players eager to purchase a physical copy of Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. Contrary to what was stated in the marketing materials promoting this version, the box does not contain a standard card.
In fact, buyers received their copy in the form of a game key card. No promotional material indicated this. The product listing on Amazon also did not mention this detail. In September, the Wario64 account on X contacted Saber Interactive about this issue. The publisher confirmed at the time that it was indeed a game key card.
Unfortunately, this information did not get widely circulated, and the marketing images were not updated accordingly.
