Shenmue III Enhanced has been delayed to 2027

Announced back in August 2025, the enhanced version of Shenmue III hadn’t been in the news much in recent months. The game was originally scheduled for release later this year, but it has ultimately been delayed.
As a result, Shenmue III Enhanced will not be released until early 2027. ININ Games confirmed this information in a press release.
"We know you’re eagerly awaiting the chance to see Ryo shine like never before, for the first time on multiple modern consoles. Development takes time to polish every detail, and we’re making great strides.
We’ll have more details to share with you soon, and we’re looking forward to the release in early 2027!"
Shenmue III Enhanced will be released on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC in both digital and physical formats.
