Activision is working on an open-world game featuring emergent gameplay

Activision is reportedly working on a major project being developed by Elsewhere Entertainment. This Polish studio, which opened in May 2024, is made up of veterans of the video game industry. Some have worked at Naughty Dog or CD Projekt RED.
A job posting published by the publisher reveals a bit more about this mysterious game. The future Assistant Animation Director will be tasked with helping to create interactions within a dynamic world and emergent gameplay.
"You’ll help us by guiding the development of scalable animation systems that support emergent gameplay, contextual behaviors, and dynamic world interactions."
With gameplay like this, it’s a safe bet that this universe will be open-world, allowing players to enjoy an immersive and vibrant experience. NPCs will interact with each other and with their surroundings. It remains to be seen whether this title will ever see the light of day.
