The Mass Effect TV series is reportedly still in production despite BioWare's closure

BioWare's future is now sealed. Electronic Arts has decided to close the studio and halt development of the next Mass Effect. However, the sci-fi franchise does not appear to be completely dead.
According to IGN, production on the TV series led by Amazon MGM Studios is continuing. The information reportedly comes from sources within Prime Video. All creative staff working on the project are said to be staying on, including Mike Gamble, who was in charge of Mass Effect at BioWare.
So, while this could still change in the coming days, the franchise may continue to exist outside the world of video games.
