Left 4 Dead RTX significantly modernizes Left 4 Dead 2 with a mod

The iconic Left 4 Dead 2 is set to receive a major overhaul thanks to a free community mod developed by NoMercyStudios using NVIDIA RTX Remix.

This project, called Left 4 Dead RTX, will feature full ray tracing, physically based textures, improved models, and completely reworked lighting—all in 4K resolution.

A teaser trailer has been released. It was captured on a computer equipped with an RTX 5090 running at 4K resolution with path tracing and DLSS 4.5 enabled.
