The Finals introduces AI-Powered dynamic commentary in beta

Embark Studios hasn’t forgotten about The Finals, and there's a major new feature for the game that has just been rolled out as part of Season 12. Now available in beta, dynamic commentary is making its debut in the free-to-play multiplayer FPS.

Thanks to AI, commentators Scott and June will be able to mention players by their usernames and describe their achievements during a match. For example, they’ll congratulate a player who just landed a headshot while mentioning their name. For now, the feature is limited to a select number of actions.

It remains to be seen whether players will create inappropriate usernames to exploit this feature.
