Project Hadar: CD Projekt RED’s co-CEO has finalized the « worldview » for his new franchise

Michał Nowakowski, co-CEO of CD Projekt RED, has announced a major milestone regarding Hadar. This marks the company’s first entirely original intellectual property.
After several years of work, the overall vision for this universe has been completed, along with that of its key elements. The team has begun concrete work on the game, creating initial prototypes and experimenting with various gameplay elements. However, it’s important to note that the project has not yet reached the pre-production phase, so it remains at a relatively early stage.
Furthermore, he offered reassurance regarding the physical release of their future games:
« This doesn’t change the fact that we still want to release physical versions of our games. Even if it’s a box set containing a code and merchandise, we want to bring this product to market. »
Finally, a brief update was provided regarding Project Sirius, a multiplayer experience set in the Witcher universe. In addition to noting that the team in charge consists of people familiar with both the multiplayer sector and the Witcher franchise, he stated the following:
« The Sirius team has simply evolved beyond what it was in this version, and that’s the main reason for these changes. This is the first game of its kind we’ve worked on, and as a result, we’re paying very close attention to how we present its various elements. »
