Roblox suffered a major data leak that has affected the personal information of 4,000 developers

A Roblox Corporation spokesperson reported this week that a major data leak occurred in 2021. Although it did not ultimately spread beyond the platform, the attack nevertheless had a significant impact.

Indeed, 4,000 developers who had participated in Roblox conferences between 2017 and 2020 saw their personal information compromised, including phone numbers, names, dates of birth and also e-mail and physical addresses.

Roblox Corporation says it has hired independent experts to investigate and support those affected.
