Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development

It has now been more than nine years since Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced (for the second time) by Ubisoft. Since that presentation on stage at E3 2017, the project has kept a very low profile. However, the French publisher is far from having abandoned it.

Despite the many upheavals within the company in recent months, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still in development. This was confirmed by Rik Godwin, narrative director at Ubisoft Bordeaux. On Bluesky, he confirmed that he has been working on this sequel for several months as a consultant. Not without a touch of irony, he also explained that he had been given permission to say this.

For now, Beyond Good and Evil 2 does not have a release date.
