After Redfall, Arkane Austin seems to be going with a single-player action-RPG this time

Accustomed to narrative experiences with Prey and Dishonored, Arkane Austin unfortunately failed to offer a good cooperative experience with Redfall. So much so that the studio may choose to return to its roots for its next game.

In a job offer posted online by ZeniMax Media, we see that Arkane is looking for a Chief Technical Engineer. In the prerequisites, the person applying is asked to have familiarity with "single-player action-RPGs and immersive sims", which could point to the nature of the company's new project.

In addition, experience with "network and online functionalities" is also required, so we can expect the game to have some connected functionalities.
