Ninja Theory is closing its doors, and Senua being cancelled

It is now almost certain that Senua, Ninja Theory’s upcoming narrative title, will not see the light of day. Announced last June during the Xbox Games Showcase, the title could only be released if the British studio found a buyer as soon as possible.
Matt Booty, Head of Content at XBOX, stated today that negotiations regarding two separate deals for Ninja Theory have ultimately failed. Consultations have therefore begun with employees regarding the company’s complete closure. Other options, the nature of which has not been specified, will also be explored.
Thus, barring a last-minute rescue, Senua is expected to be canceled entirely.
