EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team welcomes women footballers for the very first time

It's a new feature that has caused quite a stir. For the first time in the history of Electronic Arts soccer games, women will be playing alongside men in Ultimate Team mode.
In fact, players will be able to assemble the same team by adding both male and female footballers, regardless of gender. However, not all fans welcomed the announcement... In an interview with IGN, the American publisher stuck to his guns.
"There are other modes of play, such as Kick Off, where it’s more about that club playing together against another club. But Ultimate Team to us is a mode where you can have a mix of players and you can build the best team [...] IIt’s not just about being tall and being strong. The core of the message here is: if everything is equal they play the same way."
To put it simply, those who don't like the mix in Ultimate Team are encouraged to play other modes.
