Injustice 3 may be in the playtesting phase in the United States

Since the release of Mortal Kombat 1 in 2023, NetherRealm Studios has remained tight-lipped about its next game. However, there are some persistent rumors pointing to Injustice 3... And an official announcement could even come very soon.

Good Gamer Group, a company that provides NDA-bound testing services for video game publishers and studios, recently posted an update online. The post, which has since been deleted, described upcoming tests for an "AAA fighting game" and a "major 2D fighting game".

Furthermore, the playtest is taking place in Culver City, California, which suggests the game is being developed by an American studio. Warner Bros. Games, the parent company of NetherRealm Studios, is headquartered in that same city.

Of course, this is currently just speculation based on a series of clues, so take this with a grain of salt.
