Marathon's Season 3 has been delayed to December 8

Bungie has revised its schedule for the upcoming season of Marathon. The upcoming major update for the PvP FPS was originally scheduled to be released on September 22, but that will no longer be the case.

The American studio has decided to postpone Season 3 until December 8, 2026. It will feature a new Runner skin, the permanent PvE experience, a social area/shooting range, and improvements to help onboarding new players.

Note that a smaller patch will be released on October 6. It will reset the game’s progression and economy and update the rewards. Thus, Bungie will also have more time to deliver the larger updates planned for December and March.
