A place from Red Dead Redemption 2 appears in the GTA VI gameplay

Rockstar Games appears to have included a nice reference to Red Dead Redemption 2 in the lengthy gameplay preview for GTA VI. After all, the company is known for hiding Easter eggs in its games.

In fact, players discovered quite the nod during the GTA VI extended preview on Netflix. At exactly 7:45, we can catch a glimpse of a burger ad. It shows wild animals in what looks like a prairie. Fans have noted that the location shown in this specific moment actually appears on the map of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The similarities are indeed striking. It remains to be seen whether this is simply a reference or a genuine clue suggesting that Red Dead Redemption and GTA share the same universe (in different time periods, of course).
