The head writer of the next Fable has left Playground Games

Many are eagerly awaiting the reboot of Fable. Announced back in 2020, Playground Games' game was revealed last June via an extremely successful trailer.

Today we learn that Anna Megill, the game's head scriptwriter, has decided to leave the British studio. However, the development of Fable does not seem to be threatened in any way by this departure.

She simply said on Twitter that she wanted to "take a break". She also feels that she has reached a "good stopping point to jump off the project" and reiterates her "fondness" and "respect" for the Playground teams.
