It's confirmed! Call of Duty to remain on PlayStation after Activision Blizzard takeover

Sony and Microsoft have finally come to an agreement over the future of Call of Duty. In a tweet, Xbox President Phil Spencer made it official that the FPS franchise will not be leaving the PlayStation ecosystem anytime soon.

"We are pleased to announce that Microsoft and PlayStation have signed a binding agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. We look forward to a future where players globally have more choice to play their favorite games."

However, the press release does not state whether the partnership is for 10 years or indefinitely.
