XBOX is removing competitors' logos from its game trailers

Here's something that was requested by fans of the brand. In fact, as part of Xbox’s big reset, CEO Asha Sharma had surveyed the community on the key initiatives that needed to be implemented quickly.

Fans had been calling for the removal of rival platform logos that appeared in Xbox Game Studios game trailers. For example, trailers for titles like Halo: Campaign Evolved and The Outer Worlds 2 featured the PS5 logo.

Thus, Microsoft has begun to put an end to this practice this week. Indeed, the latest trailer for Minecraft Dungeons 2 no longer features the PS5, Switch 2, Switch, or Steam logos. Only those from the XBOX ecosystem are present.

The American company is thus ending its policy of transparency. However, do keep in mind that PlayStation and Nintendo have always omitted other platforms from the trailers for their respective titles.
