Assassin's Creed Codename Red could be released in 2024

Including Assassin's Creed Mirage, due for release in October, Ubisoft is said to have 11 games from its flagship franchise in development. Among the most high-profile projects is Codename Red, an episode that will go back to the RPG formula of Valhalla, set against the backdrop of feudal Japan.

Highly ambitious, this entry could come out shortly. Indeed, Arisa Lagunzad, who looks after business development at Ubisoft, alluded in a LinkedIn post to the fact that this Assassin's Creed Codename Red will land in 2024. The post has since been modified, but it still states that sponsors are being sought for the game as early as next year.

Whether this is a just an error or a true leak remains to be seen.
