League of Legends Classic launches on July 29 with update 26.15

Riot Games confirmed details about League of Legends Classic during the finals of the 2026 MSI tournament. The final match saw Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) defeat Bilibili Gaming (BLG) three games to two.

We’ve learned that League of Legends Classic will debut on July 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Paris time. To play, you’ll need to download Patch 26.15. This isn’t a separate client, but a mode built into the League of Legends client.

Players will be able to relive the « LOL » experience just as it was in the early days. Season 3, launched in 2013, served as the basis for this mode, which features the original gameplay and map. All champions (60 in total), items, and metas from that era are making a comeback.
