God of War Laufey will be available on disc at launch

This has now become gamers’ biggest fear. In fact, gamers are turning to social media to ask studios whether their upcoming games will be available on disc at launch. The next God of War has not escaped this line of questioning.

Faced with a wave of comments criticizing PlayStation for its stance on physical media, Santa Monica Studio has confirmed that God of War Laufey will be available on disc at launch.

The game’s release date remains unknown at this time, but rumors suggest a possible release in 2027. In any case, since Laufey will be available on physical media, that means it will be released before January 2028.
