Elden Ring sold like hotcakes after its Game Awards win

Last December, the latest game from FromSoftware won the prestigious "Game of the Year" award at The Game Awards. This award has apparently led to a significant increase in sales. FromSoftware's parent company, Kadokawa, reports a 206.4% increase in net game sales during the third quarter of its fiscal year. This performance is said to be mainly linked to the resurgence of Elden Ring. Elden Ring has even become the most-awarded game of all time with its 332 prizes.
