Atlus to simplify Social Links on Persona 3: Reload

Atlus has confirmed that a major change will be made to the remake of Persona 3. In an interview with Famitsu, director Takuya Yamaguchi outlined the changes made to the title's Social Links system.

The Social Links rank improves as our hero spends time with friends. However, a link reversal could occur if a character was too neglected by the protagonist and then, by making poor decisions during dialogues, this same social bond could be permanently "broken" and irrecoverable.

It's this "broken" state that has been removed from Persona 3 Reload. The inversion system is still in place, but is much less strict. Leaving a friend aside for a certain length of time, for example, will no longer have a negative impact.
