Launched in April 1996, the Metal Slug series is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, SNK is preparing two brand-new projects set to release on various platforms.
First, we'll be treated to a mobile game called Metal Slug Rush. It is being developed by RingGames under an official SNK license. Additionally, there's a new Metal Slug also in production. We don’t have any further details about it, but it is likely a game for consoles and PC.
More details will be released soon.
