Quantic Dream targets a 2026 release for Star Wars Eclipse
, by Thibaut
In December 2021, Quantic Dream proudly announced Star Wars Eclipse. The French studio behind Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls is working closely with Lucasfilm Games on this project.
Unfortunately, we'll have to brace ourselves for a long wait before we can test this highly ambitious game. According to Insider Gaming, Quantic Dream is aiming for a 2026 launch. However, we can't rule out an eventual delay, given the scale of the title and the difficulties encountered by the studio in recruiting staff. Indeed, the studio had previously been hit by allegations of a toxic atmosphere within its teams, as well as cases of sexual harassment.
