Star Wars Eclipse is still in the works, and the first trailer just got aired again during a Disney event

Star Wars Eclipse is still up in the air, to say something. Even though it got announced back in December 2021, the game has yet to be shown again.

While Quantic Dream recently reassured gamers explaining that development was going well, there are rumors suggesting it being cancelled due to NetEase's strategic decisions. The Chinese company owns the French studio as of now, but it may be looking to sell it.

While we wait and see how this whole affair ends, Disney has reaffirmed the existence of Star Wars Eclipse. In fact, the announcement trailer was re-aired during D23, which is currently taking place in Anaheim, California. This is obviously not a new clip, but simply the original trailer.

It would be hard to imagine the project being canceled, given that Disney is showing the trailer at its own event.
