Over 3 million copies of Final Fantasy XVI sold in less than a week

In addition to a wide array of excellent scores () received from the specialist press, Final Fantasy XVI also appears to be heading for worldwide commercial success. Square Enix hasn't kept us waiting and has already released the first sales figures for its game.

Since its launch on June 22, Final Fantasy XVI has already sold over 3 million copies worldwide, combining both physical and digital versions. Quite a feat when you consider that the title is only available on PS5.
