Sony does not plan to fully launch cloud gaming until 2025
, by Thibaut
Admittedly, Sony is lagging behind the competition when it comes to cloud gaming. At present, it's impossible to play PS5 titles via the cloud. Nevertheless , the manufacturer clearly mentioned last month that the feature was coming. However, no launch date has been given.
PlayStation also has no plans to offer cloud gaming a leading position by 2025. This was revealed by brand president Jim Ryan during the legal battle between the FTC and Microsoft over the purchase of Activision Blizzard. So yeah, this means that cloud gaming will not be a major part of PlayStation's business for at least two years.
