The Ghost of Yotei PC port was almost done before it got canceled

PlayStation is set to completely overhaul its strategy by no longer porting its exclusive single-player titles to PC. This is a rather unexpected turnaround, aimed at forcing players to buy a PS5 in order to access these big-budget productions.

In a message posted on X, insider DetectiveSeeds said he had been in contact with four people close to PlayStation. They reportedly said that the PC port of Ghost of Yotei was at a very advanced stage of development with a launch planned for 2026. Everyone expected Sucker Punch's game to be released on our computers after all, particularly to attract more players to the Legends multiplayer mode coming on March 10.

In the end, this version was reportedly canceled completely.
