A Resident Evil Requiem DLC is reportedly in the works

Now that Resident Evil Requiem is available on consoles and PC, many are already clamoring for new content. If we are to believe insider Dusk Golem, Capcom is indeed preparing new content for this ninth installment.
Apart from Resident Evil 3 (2020) and Resident Evil 6, all games in the franchise have got at least one DLC after their launch. The two episodes mentioned above were each supposed to welcome new story content, but the very mixed critical reception of these games led Capcom to cancel them.
In the case of Requiem, it's likely there's a DLC in development. We don't yet know what it will contain, but it should keep us busy until the next game, which is expected to be a remake of Code Veronica.
Dusk Golem believes it could be a new story centered on Leon Kennedy. Capcom reportedly cut several sections from the final game. One showed Leon wandering freely through the streets of Raccoon City, and another took place in the mansion from Resident Evil 1. A final sequence showing Leon wanting to retire was also reportedly removed.
It remains to be seen whether one or more of these passages could end up being on this DLC.
