Sony's mobile games division has (already) lost its president
, by Thibaut
Every major brand in the video game industry wants to make its mark on smartphones and tablets. To this end, Sony set up a specialized division in June 2021, but alas, apart from the launch of Ultimate Sackboy this year, PlayStation has remained rather silent on mobile.
Today we learn that Nicola Sebastiani, head of this famous mobile branch, has left Sony after just two years of loyal service. A worrying signal, even if the Japanese firm is not planning to abandon this lucrative market for all that. In fact, by 2025, half the titles launched by the brand will be available on PC and mobile.
