The plans for the next Xbox console remain in place

Microsoft's gaming division may be facing a period of uncertainty. Phil Spencer will step down as CEO on Monday, February 23, replaced by Asha Sharma. While the new president has sought to reassure gamers, there are some questions unanswered.
With the departures of Phil Spencer and Sarah Bond (who was president of Xbox), it's possible to wonder what will happen with the next generation of consoles. Jez Corden, a journalist at Windows Central, said that "I'm told there's currently no changes planned to the current Xbox next-gen strategy (for now).".
His sources have indicated that the future Xbox console is still on track and that the company's hardware products have not been canceled. That is at least the case for now, but things can always change.
