Patrick Söderlund has been appointed Executive Chairman of Nexon following the success of ARC Raiders

With over 14 million units sold worldwide, ARC Raiders has propelled Embark Studios into the spotlight. Nexon, the game's publisher, recognized this and made an important decision.

Patrick Söderlund, CEO of Embark Studios, has also been appointed Executive Chairman of Nexon by the board of directors. His appointment takes effect immediately. He will assume both roles simultaneously.

Söderlund will work closely with Junghun Lee, CEO of Nexon, to decide on the long-term strategy and creative direction of the South Korean firm. The goal is to usher in a new phase of growth for the company.
