Marathon gets new gameplay and a few extra details

Bungie gave players the chance to test Marathon in preview in China during a special event. Of course, more details and gameplay footage ended up on social media.

On X, the Marathon Bulletin account shared just under four minutes of gameplay. In addition to this, we learn that when it is released on March 5, 2026, Bungie's title will feature at least six skins for each Runner (class), one per faction. Furthermore, 28 weapons with at least two skins each will be included. Cosmetic options will even allow players to modify the weapon model.

During the test, participants also noticed that healing and shields were very expensive. Finally, AI-controlled enemies are described as "ruthless" and regularly call for reinforcements.
