Introducing Screamer, an arcade racing game with an anime aesthetic, coming March 26

Originally released in 1995 to ride the wave of arcade racing games like Ridge Racer, Screamer returns on March 26, 2026, for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. This time around, it's taking a more narrative approach and sporting an anime aesthetic.

The Screamer tournament brings together soldiers, scientists, criminals, superstars, and other tycoons in a ruthless car racing competition. We'll have to choose our driver carefully, as each one has their own attributes. We'll be racing in a futuristic world that echoes the visual style of 1990s anime.

Thanks to a technology called ECHO, cars will be able to use Boost, Shield, and Strike. During these team races, the goal will always be to cross the finish line first, without forgetting to eliminate our opponents in a rather explosive fashion.
