There are four new match types reportedly planned for WWE 2K26

We're getting more and more rumors about WWE 2K26, which still has to be officially announced. According to initial reports, CM Punk will be the star of the Showcase mode.

Now, the website Insider Gaming has revealed that four new match types will be introduced in this installment. These are the I Quit matches (which involve forcing your opponent to give up) and Inferno Matches (in which you have to set your opponent on fire). Neither of these have been available for 13 years.

The list also includes 3 Stages of Hell matches, where players must select three stipulations in a best-of-three match. This feature was already present in the Smackdown vs. Raw games.

Finally, the “Dumpster Match” will make its debut in WWE 2K26. Its concept is not yet known, but it should be similar to the Casket Match, in which you have to lock your opponent in a coffin to win.
