What are we playing this weekend? #7
, by Thibaut
Another week is drawing to a close, and in these hectic times, it's essential to get a well deserved rest, so why don't do so by discovering some of the lesser-known recent gems? While The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom and Amnesia: The Bunker are making the headlines, other titles are also worth a detour.
Without further ado, here's our selection of the five games on Steam to keep an eye on right now.
1 We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie
A remastered version of the second entry in the crazy We Love Katamari Damacy franchise. The graphics have been modernized and the interface completely redesigned for further enjoyment of the game. Here, players simply roll their katamari to wrap around any object in their path. While the gameplay may seem pretty simple, it can prove to be quite challenging.
2. Poly Bridge 3
Let's move on to a puzzle in which the player must build bridges to allow vehicles to reach their destination. The campaign mode features several hundred levels, and the community can also upload their own levels.
3. Mad Games Tycoon 2
If you've always dreamed of owning your own game development studio, then Mad Games Tycoon 2 is for you. To improve the office and recruit more and more developers, you'll need to build on your success by making unforgettable games.
4. Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer
This is a retro-looking FPS in the vein of the first DOOM and Duke Nukem. Slayers X relies on unbridled action, lots of blood and a crazy soundtrack.
5. Killer Frequency
Last but not least, we end with a puzzle game set in a horrific atmosphere. You play the host of a night-time radio station whose callers are being pursued by a killer. You have to guide them from a distance to save them from a gruesome death.
