Nintendo kicks off celebrations for Pokémon's 30th anniversary

In 2026, The Pokémon Company will celebrate 30 years of its flagship franchise. A major promotional campaign has just been launched. Pokémon Red and Green were released in Japan on February 27, 1996.
Ahead of this big day, we can now see the new Pokémon 30th anniversary logo. It features Pikachu in its various appearances throughout the generations. On the franchise's social media accounts, a message states that "this year will be the best ever!"
