ASUS could enter the DRAM market in 2026

The current shortage affecting the DRAM sector is already having a significant impact on prices. Micron has discontinued its Crucial range, consoles could see price increases, and some graphics cards are now cheaper than RAM.

However, there could be light at the end of the tunnel in 2026. According to the website Sakhtafzarmag, ASUS is considering making a dramatic entry into the DRAM market next year, with dedicated production lines up and running by the end of the second quarter of 2026. Initially, ASUS is expected to focus on supplying its own products (laptops and desktops).

Of course, this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt for now. However, Sakhtafzarmag has leaked information that has proven to be accurate regarding AMD and Intel processors in the past.
