[UPD] Stardew Valley is available now on Switch 2

Update on December 26, 2025, at 11:50 a.m.

On X, Eric Barone apologized to the community for issues that arose with the launch of this Switch 2 version. Bugs related to mouse mode and co-op play have been reported, with a fix being deployed shortly.

It is also important to note that Stardew Valley is still not available on Switch 2 in Europe.

Last week, when discussing the upcoming 1.7 update, Eric Barone briefly mentioned the Switch 2 version of Stardew Valley. It was supposed to be released in the near future.

So, it was at Christmas that Stardew Valley made its appearance on Nintendo's latest console. The title is available for $14.99 on the eShop, with a free upgrade for owners of the Switch version.

On Switch 2, the game supports mouse controls, local co-op for up to four players, online multiplayer for up to eight players, and the GameShare feature.
