Kojima doesn't know yet if OD will come to fruition

There are still many uncertainties surrounding OD. The horror game developed by Kojima Productions in partnership with Xbox doesn't have a a release date yet. Furthermore, no gameplay footage has been shown.

In an interview with Ananweb, Hideo Kojima shared his concerns about the project. He is not even sure that the game will see the light of day. Unlike Death Stranding, which uses systems similar to other games by the Japanese director, OD is something completely different. It will opt for a total “live service” model, which is proving to be “particularly complex.”

Last September, we got a more detailed look at OD with a new trailer. Hideo Kojima says he has hidden clues in it that only the most passionate players will be able to discover.
