Netflix considered buying EA and other large companies
, by Thibaut
It's now official: Netflix intends to spend $82.7 billion to acquire Warner Bros. However, Paramount has not had its final say and has just issued a hostile bid that could deprive the American streaming giant of this major acquisition.
In a recent article, Bloomberg also revealed other information. Netflix executives reportedly discussed the possibility of acquiring other major companies such as Electronic Arts, Fox, and Disney, but ended up deciding against it due to a lack of agreement within the management team, which was also concerned about its reputation among investors.
It remains to be seen whether Netflix will emerge victorious from its battle with Paramount for Warner Bros.
