The studio behind Wreckreation gives its staff notice of future redundancies

Wreckreation was released in October 2025, published by THQ Nordic.

Three Fields Entertainment, the studio behind the title, is putting its entire staff "on notice of redundancy" for the following reason: no long-term revenue from sales, despite efforts to develop and add post-launch content.

In a post on LinkedIn, CEO Fiona Sperry said there had not been much support from the publisher. She said the studio had to self-finance for most of 2025 and would not see any revenue from sales of the game.

"Without the enthusiasm or financial support from our publisher to continue development, we simply cannot sustain the studio in its current form."

In her post, she says she hopes that by publicly presenting the latest internal work for the first time, it will attract funding or interest from another company.
