You don't need to play Final Fantasy VII Remake to enjoy Rebirth
, by Thibaut
Square Enix is currently engaged in a weird marketing campaign concerning Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The Japanese company has decided to share some details with a sort of question-and-answer session staged on social networks.
Last week, we learned that the game's development was progressing well but that a release date was yet to be chosen. Today, co-director Motomu Toriyama tells us a little more about the story behind this second entry, pointing out that you don't need to play Final Fantasy VII Remake in order to enjoy Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The co-director explains that some sort of "element" will be put in place to get up to speed those unfamiliar with Cloud's adventures.
The game is still scheduled for release next winter.
