A surprise awaits those who reach Hardcore level 100 on Diablo IV

As the release of Diablo IV draws ever nearer, Blizzard is turning up the heat in the run-up to the reopening of the gates of Sanctuary. The American studio is firing on all cylinders, its intent clearly focused on motivating players to try Hardcore difficulty.

But what does Hardcore mode entail? By choosing this mode, users will see their character wiped out if they so much as die one time. Yes, that means they’ll have to start from level 1. But there is a catch. Blizzard is promising a reward for the first 1,000 skilled players who reach level 100, promising to engrave their pseudonym on a statue of Lilith. However, the studio has already pointed out that it may not be possible to register all 1,000 names.

In any case, if you want to try your luck, you’ll need to provide proof (via a screenshot or video) and use #Diablo4Hardcore on Twitter in order to be eligible for this contest.
