The next Alone in the Dark will come out on the October 25

After Wednesday's PlayStation Showcase, it was THQ Nordic's turn to speak. The publisher wanted to give us more details about the upcoming Alone in the Dark. This remake was thoroughly revealed, announcing its release date set for October 25, 2023, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (€59.99 / $59.99 / £49.99).

In the cast of this episode, we have David Harbour (Stranger Things, Gran Turismo) and Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) in the roles of Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood. This "Alone in the Dark Spotlight" also allowed us to discover some gameplay segments and hear testimonies from people working on this remake.

And the good news doesn't come alone, as a free prologue titled "Grace in the Dark" is available for download now. This demo allows us to follow the young Grace Saunders several weeks before the events of the main game. Here, there are no combat encounters as the emphasis is on the oppressive atmosphere of the mansion.
