A study shows the benefits of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

A new study published in JMIR Serious Games, a journal specializing in video game research, has revealed the positive effects of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on players.

The Nintendo title was given to graduate students at the university. This segment of the population is heavily impacted by stress, exhaustion, and high levels of anxiety related to their professional lives.

The study shows that playing Breath of the Wild made participants feel calmer, more adventurous, and even more skilled in their daily lives. It also states that the game is capable of "giving meaning to the lives" of those surveyed.

Of course, this state of positivity hasn't yet been measured over the long term. It could be a simple fleeting feeling. In any case, it demonstrates once again the benefits of video games.
