Switch games ported to Switch 2 will cost around €80

The price controversies surrounding the Switch 2 keep making the rounds on social networks. The console will retail for €469.99, with titles such as Mario Kart World going for as much as €89.99. Alas, it won't stop there.

As we learned at the Nintendo Direct, some games originally released on the first Switch will get an upgrade to Switch 2 for owners of these titles. What's more, it will be possible to buy these directly in their Nintendo Switch 2 version. This copy will include the original game and its upgrade.

If we are to believe the first prices relayed by online retailers, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilds, Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Party Jamboree will be €79.99 on Switch 2.
