Alan Wake will appear once again during the Summer Game Fest

It is now official, Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 17th. Remedy confirmed the good news during the PlayStation Showcase. The trailer shown during Sony's event featured some very enticing gameplay footage. But the Finnish studio won't stop there.

In fact, the game will also make an appearance at Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest on June 8th. Another gameplay demo (likely longer) will be presented there. In this second installment, players will take on the roles of two protagonists: writer Alan Wake and FBI agent Saga Anderson. Each of them will navigate through a different world. This will be Remedy's first foray into the survival-horror genre.
